Looking for a new career direction
I am 51 years old and come from a sales background and from 09.2019 to 08.2020 I completed my training as a Dipl. Professional Health Fitness and Personal Trainer completed.
I have been involved in sport since I was a child. I actively played football for about 25 years. I also run, cycle, swim and have been strength training several times a week for about 10 years.
As I was looking for a career change and the idea of combining my hobby and profession had been a goal of mine for a long time, training was the next logical step for me.
I contacted several institutes, but in the end only Flexyfit and one other institute remained. The first thing that appealed to me about Flexyfit was the really good training catalog, which not only contains information about the courses, but also information about the legal basis for possible self-employment, funding, certificates, .... I have not found this in such a compact form with other providers, and it immediately gave me the impression of professionalism.

There was also the option to choose between different learning packages, meaning that you have the option of distance learning, a face-to-face course and individual lessons . The choice of alternating workshops was another plus point.
I was completely convinced by the very nice, personal conversation in which everything was explained in detail and help was offered in choosing the right training and information on funding opportunities. I was also impressed by the fact that help is also available after training has been completed. The whole team made a very friendly impression and you could tell that the working atmosphere here must be great.
I would like to gain a foothold in the fitness industry in the future.
I'm starting out as a part-time employee with the longer-term goal of earning my own living in the future. The course has given me some additional information and opportunities that I hadn't thought of before.
I don't do a run-of-the-mill program, but instead respond specifically to the customer's goals and wishes. Of course, some wishes have to be adapted, but we then work out new, realistic goals together. I am always very honest with my clients. The course allows me to convey my professionalism well, and that's why my customers trust me.
My customers also realize that I not only enjoy working with them, but that I can also put myself in their shoes and understand their needs. I know how to motivate people to actually implement their plans and stick with them.
I would like to start my own business and complete further training or workshops to specialize in this area so that I can offer my clients the best possible support.
