Find/define goals
In this subject, students learn about different approaches to identifying goals, such as the decision triangle, which enables a holistic view of desires, capabilities and realism. They learn how to formulate their goals clearly and specifically in order to create the basis for successful implementation.
Methods of implementation and motivation are also covered, with students learning strategies to overcome obstacles and maintain sustained motivation. The S.M.A.R.T. model provides a practical guideline for designing goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound.
The S.C.O.R.E. model extends this approach and integrates aspects such as the impact of the goal on ones life and the evaluation of ones attitude towards the goal. Students will recognize how these models work together to provide a clear, well-rounded approach to goal setting.
Robert Dilts logical levels provide students with a deeper perspective by exploring the connection between environment, behavior, skills, beliefs, values, and identity. This allows for a comprehensive reflection on the alignment of goals within the larger context of life.
