Communication and empathy
Strong communication is the basis of all successful coaching: clear, empathetic and appreciative. In this course, you will learn how communication works on a verbal, non-verbal and para-verbal level and why it is often not just the content that counts, but also body language, voice and posture.
You will understand why active listening is one of the most important skills in coaching and how you can build trust through targeted questions, genuine interest and clear mirroring. You will also work with body language, eye contact and voice to convey confidence and create a professional atmosphere.
Another focus is solution-oriented conversation. You will practise responding empathetically, communicating boundaries clearly and remaining calm and professional even in challenging situations. You will learn how to structure conversations, recognize misunderstandings early on and provide stable support to people in change processes.
The aim of the subject is to establish an authentic connection , provide clear impetus and empower and motivate clients through confident, empathic communication.
