What exactly does a fitness personal trainer do?

Where can I work as a fitness personal trainer?

But it is also possible to work as a self-employed personal trainer, either in a fitness studio, at your or the customers home or outdoors. What is meant by personal training?

Personal training refers to one-to-one training, i.e. direct contact with customers. The training does not necessarily have to take place in a gym. To ensure that you are perfectly prepared for one-to-one training with your customers, our training focuses on movement sequences, training instructions, recognizing and safely correcting mistakes and hands-on techniques when dealing with customers. After completing your training, you will have the opportunity to work both on a self-employed basis and as an employee in fitness studios, sports and leisure facilities or health facilities. You will also gain extensive knowledge about creative ways of designing training sessions using a wide range of equipment.

What is the difference between "Dipl. Fitness Trainer" and "Health Fitness & Personal Trainer"?

The Health Fitness Trainer course builds on the fitness trainer course and expands it with both in-depth and new content. New subjects cover training methods such as HIT high intensity training, functional training and differentiated strength training. Participants also learn movement analysis and the creation and implementation of individual training concepts as well as One2One, i.e. how to deal with customers. This course also covers free weight training in greater depth and additional exercises for various muscle groups.
