Introduction & practice of the Lomi Lomi Nui techniques
The basic principles and energetic foundations of Lomi Lomi Nui massage are taught. Participants will first gain deeper insights into the spiritual and philosophical foundations such as the meaning of mana (life force), aloha (love) and pono (justice). These principles are explained in terms of their application and significance in massage practice.
Another focus is on the energetic basics. This includes an introduction to the chakra system, the meaning of the individual chakras and techniques for energy work. The basics of the meridian system are also covered and their significance and application in massage practice explained.
Lomi Lomi Nui techniques
This section focuses on the practical techniques of Lomi Lomi Nui massage. The basic techniques include the detailed instruction and practice of the backstroke, various stroking techniques and the use of the forearms in the massage. Each technique is explained in detail and practiced in terms of its application and effect.
In addition, specific grips and movements such as joint mobilization and the integration of stretches into the massage are discussed. Participants learn techniques for mobilizing the joints and their practical application.
Another important component is the sequence of a Lomi Lomi Nui massage. Step-by-step instructions are given for a complete massage (front and back). In addition, the techniques and procedure for working with two and four hands as well as the necessary coordination and synchronization are taught.
