Lesson planning & training theory
The special training theory for childrens training includes motor development, coordination skills and coordination training in childhood and adolescence. Speed training, endurance training and strength training are also considered in terms of definition, physiology, development and implementation.
Participants also learn how to structure a session in the best possible way. Quality criteria and lesson objectives are discussed to ensure that technical correctness, performance expectations and structuring of the lesson run smoothly. The structure of a teaching unit is divided into introduction, main part and cool down and each section is examined in detail. Participants must now bring in and combine their previous knowledge from other subjects in order to be able to offer children a safe, effective sports unit under correct conditions.
Sports methodology is about methods for communicating learning objectives. Therefore, participants learn important factors such as the choice of the optimal teaching method and form of organization, the optimal form of operation (frontal, group or individual operation), the choice of optimal learning aids and much more.
Finally, the focus is on lesson design. Participants learn what the purpose of a lesson plan is and what should be taken into account when creating it.
