Anabolic window: does it exist or not?
Hmm...anabolic window, I've heard that before. Many people have, because the term is often the subject of wide-ranging fitness discussions in amateur and fitness sports. At the end of such discussions, however, you are usually just as smart as before. This is mainly due to the fact that there are numerous myths surrounding the concept, which have become increasingly widespread in recent years.
The anabolic window is actually a very simple concept. It states that there is a "window" of around 60-90 minutes after training in which the body reacts particularly well to the food it has eaten and can utilize nutrients better. During this "window", proteins and carbohydrates should therefore be consumed particularly quickly in order to achieve the best results.
