Career: Sports therapist (ret.), qualified human energeticist and qualified kinesiologist, trained at the BFI as a state-certified vitality and wellness trainer in the areas of strength, aerobics, endurance, back fitness, aqua fitness, Nordic walking, nutrition and health management; additional training as a Smovey trainer; since 2007 management of various studios and self-employed trainer for children's gymnastics, personal training and group training.
When asked about her favorite piece of sports equipment, Birgit answers without hesitation: "The leg press!". Once you've experienced Birgit live, you might consider treating the leg press with more benevolence than before. Birgit is the mother of three children and yes, even after three pregnancies it is possible to get your body back in such great shape. Birgit doesn't need any extra motivation to do something for herself and her body, as motivation works the other way round for her: "It's more the frustration of NOT going to the gym!" Sounds a little unconventional, doesn't it? It fits! Because that's exactly how her children describe her. And, lovingly added: "Unlike other moms."
