Another key point is the assignment of rights and authorizations. Here participants will learn how to control access to databases and their contents to ensure data security and integrity.

The subject also provides an introduction to phpMyAdmin, a widely used tool for managing MySQL databases via a web-based user interface. Students will learn the basic operations in phpMyAdmin, including creating and editing databases, tables and records, as well as backing up and restoring data.
