The further education and training courses we offer in the field of adult education are created with the greatest care and are based on the latest professional standards. They are intended for professional development and knowledge transfer and are not a substitute for individual advice and support from qualified specialists.

Our training courses are aimed exclusively at adults who wish to further their professional development. Participation in our courses therefore requires a self-reliant and reflective approach to the learning content. Successful graduates of our courses receive a certificate of attendance confirming the scope and content of the training. This certificate does not replace any legally regulated or state-recognized qualifications.

We accept no liability for damage resulting from the application of the content taught in the training courses. We strongly recommend that you seek professional advice before applying the knowledge and skills taught, especially in sensitive or high-risk areas.

If you want to change careers, find out in advance what qualifications the companies or associations require. If you want to become self-employed, be sure to ask the relevant authorities in your country about the legal requirements for self-employment.

The educational goal of our courses is to train instructors in the fields of fitness, wellness, health, and prevention. The curriculum for these specific training programs focuses on the practical application and deepening of knowledge.

Note: The practice of training therapy is, pursuant to Section 2 of the MTD Act, Federal Law Gazette No. 460/1992, as amended, physiotherapists and, pursuant to §§ 27 et seq. of the Medical Assistance Professions Act (MABG), Federal Law Gazette No. 89/2012, as amended, to training therapists who perform such therapy under a physician’s orders. Exercise therapists practice their profession under the supervision of a physician or a physical therapist.

Nutritional counseling (§ 119(1) GewO) is reserved for persons who practice the profession of life and social counseling, provided they can demonstrate successful completion of a degree program in nutritional sciences at an Austrian university or successful completion of training as a registered dietitian.

Sports science counseling (§ 119(1) GewO) is reserved for individuals who practice the profession of life and social counseling, provided they can demonstrate successful completion of a degree program in sports science or physical education at an Austrian university or a diploma in a coaching program at a federal sports academy.

Both professions are regulated and fall under the jurisdiction of the Professional Association for Personal Counseling and Care. In addition to the aforementioned training programs (for both professions), “individual competence” may also be demonstrated in accordance with § 19 GewO.

The distribution of information in the form of educational instruction (e.g. in the context of lectures, workshops, seminars, etc.) is exempt from the Trade Regulation Act (according to § 2 GewO ). This means that no trade license or similar entitlement is required.

The free trade „Creation of Training Plans for Health-conscious Individuals“ can be applied for at any time at the appropriate Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO). This trade includes the selection and creation of training programs with consideration of the customer's physical needs and fitness, the instruction in the proper use of training equipment, as well as the planning and development of courses in fitness, aerobic and gymnastics. In general, a free trade license can be registered without proof of a relevant professional training or specialist education.

RESERVED FOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATES
In Germany, an academic diploma (and the accompanying title) can only be granted by universities or other similar state-sanctioned institutions of higher education (Section 18 of the Higher Education Framework Act).

WHY?
Use of the diploma or the title "Dipl." and similar terms that can be mistaken for professional titles, but which are not granted by an appropriate institution, is not permitted.

WHAT CAN HAPPEN?
The issue or use of  diploma or similar titles by an institution or individual not qualified to do so is punishable by law and may result in a fine (according to Section 132a Para. 2 StGB).

WHY DOES FLEXYFIT USE DIPLOMA?
In Austria the term diploma presupposes an education that meets certain (undefined) standards. In principle, the term can therefore be used freely if appropriate training has been completed. It is not solely reserved for higher education such as university.

AND IF I AM IN GERMANY AND ELSEWHERE?
In Germany our courses in fitness, health and exercise are issued with license titles of varying degrees. We offer A, B and C Licenses (certificates). In any instance where DIPLOMA is used for the certificate in Austria, the term "A License" is used in Germany and elsewhere.
