In this subject, participants are introduced to traditional Hawaiian energy work, focusing on Kahi Loa and the promotion of movement and suppleness of the body. First, participants will receive an introduction to Kahi Loa, a form of energy work rooted in Hawaiian tradition. The basic techniques and their application in practice are explained and practiced.
In the area of movement and suppleness of the body, participants will learn flying movement exercises that promote suppleness of the body. These exercises are practiced to understand their benefits and effectiveness. In addition, basic hula dance steps that play an important role in Hawaiian culture will be taught. Participants will learn how these dance moves can be integrated into massage practice. Finally, exercises to improve coordination and sense of rhythm will be performed, as these skills are essential for performing Lomi Lomi Nui massage, especially when using multi-hand techniques.
