About Rudolf
Born on 11.09.1954 in Carinthia (died on 23.09.2024). School education until high school graduation in Hermagor. Studied medicine in Vienna 1973-1978. 1979-1985 trained as a specialist in trauma surgery at the University Clinic for Trauma Surgery at Vienna General Hospital.
Many stays abroad, especially in the USA, to deepen his knowledge of sports injuries and arthroscopic surgical techniques. ÖÄK diploma as a sports physician, specializing in sports traumatology.
More than 200 publications and lectures on the topics of arthroscopic joint surgery, tendon injuries and rehabilitation. University professor for trauma surgery since 1996.
