It was clear from the outset that standing still was not his thing: Daniel has been interested in sport and everything that goes with it since his earliest childhood. Basketball is his great passion - for more than ten years, Daniel dribbled with his team in a wide variety of leagues. When it finally came to turning professional, he decided to take a different path: he became a personal trainer & fitness coach and has been working with his clients to achieve their goals in individual one-to-one training ever since. He does not act as a drill instructor, but rather helps people to help themselves. In other words, Daniel helps his clients to discover motivation, enjoyment of exercise and a healthy lifestyle for their own sake (this is called "intrinsic motivation").
Incidentally, the biggest source of inspiration for the father of two is his children: all the movement patterns that adults often struggle with are something that the little ones do as a matter of course, day after day. Daniel wants to integrate this naturalness and joy, the originality and playfulness of movement into his customers' everyday lives. "The body should realize what it can do, then the customer will enjoy the way they move again," is how he sums up his aim.
