Pelvic floor training - strength from the center
A healthy and strong pelvic floor is important for good posture and ergonomic movement in everyday life. If the pelvic floor loses its dynamism, pain in the back and tension in the neck can occur. Loss of continence, organ prolapse, constipation and erectile dysfunction can also be consequences. Pelvic floor training can strengthen these muscles and improve posture .
Pelvic floor training is not just for women during the menopause or after the birth of a child. Men and physically active people can also benefit from a strong pelvic floor.
The content of the workshop:
After a brief introduction to the structure and function of the pelvic floor (using anatomical models), we will use practical exercises to raise awareness of the pelvic floor. Among other things, you will learn how to tense and relax your pelvic floor muscles and find out what effects this has on your health .
No previous knowledge is required for the workshop, which is open to fitness trainers, personal trainers and anyone else who is interested.
Incidentally, the topic of the pelvic floor is also covered extensively in our Diploma Spine Trainer and Diploma Senior Trainer courses.
