Strength training outdoor
In todays world, physical activity in daily life is becoming increasingly rare, which naturally has negative effects on independence in old age. Therefore, it is important to reintroduce people to fun, joy, and safety in outdoor movement to motivate them to compensate for their sedentary lifestyles. In this session, course participants learn to optimally supervise seniors in outdoor activities.
In addition to strength exercises with resistance bands, the focus of this session is on training with natural obstacles. Participants learn how to bring the gym outdoors and perform targeted strengthening exercises for the whole body using various obstacles and objects. By adjusting levers, angles, or obstacles, the training can be adapted to each individuals fitness level. It is important to pay attention to the conditions and potential hazards that outdoor training entails.
