Practical meridian massage - lower body
In TCM-related bodywork, the lower body stands for stability, grounding and regeneration. Many tension patterns, exhaustion issues or "heavy legs" feelings are also considered in holistic concepts via the energy flow in the lower meridians. In this practical course, you will learn how to apply meridian massage to the lower body in a structured, safe and professional manner.
You will work with the central meridians of the lower body: stomach meridian, spleen meridian, liver meridian, gallbladder meridian, kidney meridian and bladder meridian. You will learn to practically feel their course, recognize typical areas with increased tension and build up the treatment in such a way that it supports the energy flow (Qi) and meaningfully complements physical resilience and regeneration .
The focus is on clear treatment sequences, a logical order and flowing transitions so that your lower body treatment is not only technically clean, but also coherent. You will also practise adapting the pressure and technique to your constitution, sensitivity and the aim of the treatment.
An important practical benefit: You will learn how to integrate lower body treatments into overall concepts - for example as part of a holistic meridian massage, as a supplement to point work or as a structured component in recurring treatment routines.
