Muscle physiology & anatomy in weight training
You will also look at the anatomy of movements in strength sports. You will analyze how joints, tendons and muscles work together to enable efficient power transmission. You will also learn which biomechanical factors influence the training effect and how these can be specifically controlled.
Another focus is on injury prevention: you will learn how incorrect movement patterns or incorrect loads can lead to problems and what measures you can take to minimize these risks. With this knowledge, you will be able to coach your athletes in a performance-oriented and health-conscious manner.
This module deepens your knowledge in the areas of hypertrophy, muscle contractions, load adaptation and regeneration and prepares you for professional application in training, coaching and competition preparation.
