Acupuncture points & pressure techniques
Targeted touch is more than just a technique in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): if you know which acupuncture points are relevant and how to treat them correctly, you can have a noticeable effect on the flow of energy (Qi ). In this course, you will receive a practice-oriented introduction to working with acupuncture points and professional pressure techniques.
You will learn to recognize and precisely locate important points. You will not only understand the location, but also the basic mode of action of selected acupressure points: Which points regulate the energy flow, which organ functional circuits they can support and how they are associated with stress, emotions and inner balance in TCM.
In the practical part, you will practise various acupressure methods, including pressure, circular and holding techniques. You will practise controlling the intensity of the pressure and adapting your application to the individual situation of the person being treated - for example, depending on their constitution, sensitivity or the aim of the treatment. In this way, you develop confidence in the application and learn to work responsibly.
This subject forms a solid foundation for effective, professional acupressure as well as for further meridian work and meridian massage in practice.
