Poor posture, obesity, restricted movement - all restrictions that you would perhaps associate more with older people. However, these physical problems are now widespread among children and young people, or at least have their origins here. However, targeted training can successfully prevent this.
The demand for children's trainers is growing steadily, as the causes of the above-mentioned problems are also becoming increasingly prevalent in our everyday lives. Children spend more time in front of their cell phones, televisions or other devices, which leads to a lack of movement and an unbalanced posture.
The task of a children's coach is not only to counteract such poor posture and lack of exercise, but also to awaken children's interest in sport in the long term with child-friendly exercise games.
In the children's coach training course, you will learn how to plan and conduct sports lessons for children. Get to know both indoor and outdoor sports games. Forms of movement such as forward and backward rolls, headstands and gymnastics on the high bar are also part of the course. We will also show you how to properly secure children during exercises.
You will also learn about the physiological and psychological side effects of obesity in children and young people. You will learn what the causes of obesity can be and what intervention options are available. Child nutrition is also part of the training to become a children's trainer. You will gain an insight into healthy child nutrition and the 4 nutritional phases of childhood.
We will also show you how to recognize and counteract poor posture in children and how to help children develop their coordination skills. Didactics, pedagogy and psychology are also an essential part of the module.
Our certificates are valid worldwide and are issued in different versions. On request, you can receive our certificate in several languages (DE, EN, ES), with country-specific information and with or without printed grades.
All these variants are available to you free of charge for a lifetime for downloading from your online campus. In addition, depending on the learning package you have purchased, you will receive a certificate of your choice, which will be issued on high-quality special paper with embossed printing.

The first part of training theory teaches the basics of training, such as training principles, principles of training design, training methods and the factors of athletic performance.
As performance, performance diagnostics, training and competition are closely interrelated, they are also taught accordingly in the course.
In the second part of training theory, training is defined and evaluated as a complex action process and in connection with planning, execution and evaluation.
An important part of training theory is still the design of training plans, which is taught in practice with examples of the possibilities of designing a training plan.
In order to delve even deeper into training science, we have worked with top international speakers such as Prof. em. Dr. phil. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Weineck, we have also developed a video workshop on the subject of altitude training.

Coordination forms the basis for almost every form of movement - in sport as well as in everyday life. The nervous system is particularly receptive during childhood, which is why coordination skills should be specifically promoted during this phase. This subject teaches which coordinative sub-skills exist, how they develop and how they can be trained in an age-appropriate manner.
It shows how movements can be trained using targeted stimuli, playful tasks and varied methods - from balancing and reaction games to dual-task exercises. Motor development phases, age-related differences and principles of differentiation are also explained in a practical way.
The aim is to strengthen children's confidence in movement, adaptability and learning ability - with child-friendly exercises, a clear structure and lots of fun with movement. This subject is aimed at all those who see coordination not as an extra, but as an integral part of every training session.

This subject teaches how movement can be used to specifically promote social skills such as teamwork, self-confidence and communication in children. Cooperation and adventure games are planned in such a way that not only physical activity, but also group experience and personal development are made possible.
It is shown how game ideas can be adapted to suit the age group, safely guided and reflected upon - both indoors and outdoors. The role of the game leader is highlighted as well as methods for child-friendly debriefing. The subject is suitable for anyone who wants to achieve more with movement - beyond sport, with pedagogical depth and real experience value.

Children need energy - for growth, concentration and exercise. But what does healthy nutrition actually mean for children? In this subject, you will learn the basics of a balanced, child-friendly diet and how to integrate this knowledge into everyday training in a sensitive, practical and non-instructional way.
Nutrients, portion sizes and fluid requirements are examined, as well as the question of what children really need before and after training. Practical tips, suitable snack ideas and the right way to deal with sugar traps are just as much a part of this as strategies for motivation through role modeling and a playful approach to training. A special focus is placed on the pedagogical role of trainers: You will learn how to address nutrition topics in an age-appropriate and non-judgmental way, involve parents and recognize when it makes sense to refer to specialists - for example in the case of conspicuous eating behaviour, underweight or overweight.

Running is one of the central forms of movement in childhood - it stands for freedom, playfulness and motor development. In this subject, you will learn how to specifically promote children's running development and integrate it into training in a playful way.
You will look at typical running movements at pre-school and school age, recognize common movement patterns and learn how you can accompany children individually - without pressure to perform, but with a clear view of technique, coordination and motivation. Special attention is paid to creative running variations, figurative language ("running like a cheetah") and the use of motivating game forms such as relays, courses or rhythm runs.
Methodology and training structure are also part of the module: You will learn how to incorporate running exercises sensibly into warm-up, main and cool-down phases, how to teach them in a child-friendly way and how to adapt them to different age and ability levels.

Good children's training sessions need more than just sporting exercises - they need a clear structure, a motivating learning atmosphere and a pedagogical approach that takes children seriously. In this subject, you will deal with the question of how children learn, what they need at what age and how you can structure training sessions in a sensible, age-appropriate and varied way.
You will learn how movement learning works, what role language, role models and motivation play and how to create a coherent, child-friendly unit from individual exercises - from the beginning to the end. A particular focus is on practical implementation: rituals, use of materials, group division, game variations and reflection methods are taught in concrete terms.
A look at your own role as a trainer is also part of the course - between leadership, guidance and role model. The aim is to give children orientation, safety and enjoyment of movement - with heart, structure and pedagogical flair.

A large part of the quality of training for children depends not only on the sporting content, but also on how you as a trainer communicate, observe and respond to children. Children have very different needs depending on their age, personality and everyday situation - and react sensitively to language, mood and attitude.
In this subject, you will acquire basic knowledge about psychological development in childhood and learn to better understand children's behavior - whether loud, reserved, unfocused or over-motivated. You will train the targeted use of language, body language, feedback and "I" messages to create clarity, security and motivation during training.
Another focus is on dealing with difficult situations: Tears, conflicts, withdrawal or resistance are all part of children's training - here you will learn how to react in a calm and de-escalating manner. You will also reflect on your role as a trainer: How do you create closeness without appearing aloof? How do you remain professional when parents are critical? How do you empower children through respectful communication?

The subject"Special training theory" provides you with in-depth knowledge about the physical development of children and shows you how you can respond individually and responsibly to different conditions. Topics such as poor posture, obesity, growth spurts and differences in performance are the focus here.
You will learn how to set child-friendly training stimuli , avoid excessive demands and involve all children - regardless of their level of ability - in training in a motivating way. Particular attention is paid to sensitive communication, building self-confidence and a differentiated, practical selection of exercises.

There are a variety of funding options for training at the Flexyfit Sports Academy. State-specific and EU funding as well as tax-related options form the basis for this.
However, we would like to point out that the respective funding body is solely responsible for deciding on the allocation or amount of funding.
We will be happy to help you find a suitable funding body and compile all the course information you need for a funding application. You must submit the application itself to the funding bodies.
Depending on the funding institution, the training costs are either paid directly after the funding application has been confirmed (e.g. AMS) or reimbursed in full or in part after successful completion of the training (e.g. waff). Please contact the funding institutions yourself to find out how the funding works.
Yes, the majority of our courses are suitable for educational leave.
If you want to continue your education without terminating your employment, you can arrange educational leave with your employer. This means that you will be released from work for the duration of your training.
Plan your educational leave with us now! We will be happy to clarify your individual training requirements with you in a personal, non-binding consultation.
You can take your educational leave for a maximum of 1 year within 4 years - there are 3 options:
It is important that your employer agrees to you taking educational leave. You must provide evidence of the training plans issued by us to the extent of 20 hours per week in the case of full-time educational leave, or at least 10 hours in the case of part-time educational leave.
You must regularly provide evidence of the progress of your training. For example, in the form of examinations or confirmation of attendance, which you will receive from us.
Children's coaches organize child-friendly exercise and sports games, both indoors and outdoors. The focus is on preventing obesity and improving motor skills.
For children's coaches, it is also part of the job to recognize and counteract poor posture in children and to support children in developing their coordination skills.
Children's nutrition is also an issue, for example, knowledge about children's nutritional requirements can be passed on to parents.
As an independent certified children's trainer, you have the opportunity to work with various clubs, kindergartens and schools. Together with the institutions and/or parents, you can develop and implement holistic health concepts for children.
Whether you focus on training and workshops with children or prefer to give lectures is up to you.
We regularly list job advertisements from fitness studios on our Sportkarriere platform. There you can apply directly for jobs as a fitness trainer, branch manager, instructor or studio employee.

Great training and super nice people. You can tell how much emphasis is placed on conveying the necessary knowledge to the course participants in an understandable way. I was even kindly allowed to take a course completely free of charge after there were somewhat problematic and disruptive participants in my group. I will 100% take more courses with you in the future because learning is extremely fun, especially thanks to the friendly staff!

The best thing that could have happened to me is this academy. Access to participants is excellent. All employees are very competent, very professional and very friendly. A person can learn so much that it is indescribably good. I would recommend it to everyone. When I arrived in Austria I was looking for something like this and luckily I found this academy and signed up for the course without hesitation. Everything we get in return is worth 100 times more than what we pay. Indescribable experience, indescribable people, once again and 1000 times I say: Thank you for everything, thank you for this indescribable experience. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

I was able to learn a lot of new things as part of my training at the Flexyfit Academy and was able to take on a new, demanding challenge with my chosen course. The structure of the training courses is very understandable and clear, so that you can master the distance learning course on your own without any problems. If there were any questions, ambiguities or isolated problems, the Academy team was always quick to help and we could always find a common solution. Here and there I would have liked a little more practical relevance. Nevertheless, I always felt very comfortable, had great speakers and with my degree as a qualified medical sports coach, many new doors are now open to me :)
