The first part of training theory teaches the basics of training, such as training principles, principles of training design, training methods and the factors of athletic performance.
As performance, performance diagnostics, training and competition are closely interrelated, they are also taught accordingly in the course.
In the second part of training theory, training is defined and evaluated as a complex action process and in connection with planning, execution and evaluation.
An important part of training theory is still the design of training plans, which is taught in practice with examples of the possibilities of designing a training plan.
In order to delve even deeper into training science, we have worked with top international speakers such as Prof. em. Dr. phil. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Weineck, we have also developed a video workshop on the subject of altitude training.

Building on the basic exercises, participants in this subject learn advanced exercises such as "Open Leg Rocker" or "Scissors". These require a minimum level of core strength and control.
Moreover, the difficulty level of various exercises can be increased using additional equipment such as Pilates rings and foam rollers. Participants learn how to use these devices with various exercises.

In the Pilates Basic Exercises course, participants learn the precise execution of fundamental Pilates exercises. Exercises such as"the Hundred," "Leg Stretch," or "Side Leg Raises" have found their place in many home workouts, but incorrect execution can render the exercises ineffective or lead to injuries.
Step by step, participants are guided through the exercises - which muscle groups are activated, how breathing is adjusted to the exercise, and what visualizations can facilitate the exercise. There are also examples of modifications and progressions of the exercise in case exercises cannot be performed due to discomfort or movement restrictions.

Participants learn the terminology commonly used in Pilates for exercises. For example, they delve into the complex interplay of muscles that make up the "Powerhouse," how chest breathing works, or body positions such as Pilates Box and Pilates V.
The principles of Pilates such as precision, control, and fluid movements are ingrained in the participants.

When conveying the correct and differentiated execution of exercises, the following principles should always take precedence: breathing, concentration, control, centering, precision, and flow of movement.
Participants learn to execute and instruct Pilates exercises correctly based on these principles.

Mobilizing, stretching, preparing, aligning - all these are components of warm-up in Pilates training. Participants learn not only to prepare their bodies but also to prepare their minds for the workout.
The choice and sequence of Pilates exercises for a session are of paramount importance and are therefore an essential part of this subject.
Finally, participants also learn exercises for the cool down, including stretching, breathing, and relaxation exercises.

There are a variety of funding options for training at the Flexyfit Sports Academy. State-specific and EU funding as well as tax-related options form the basis for this.
However, we would like to point out that the respective funding body is solely responsible for deciding on the allocation or amount of funding.
We will be happy to help you find a suitable funding body and compile all the course information you need for a funding application. You must submit the application itself to the funding bodies.
Depending on the funding institution, the training costs are either paid directly after the funding application has been confirmed (e.g. AMS) or reimbursed in full or in part after successful completion of the training (e.g. waff). Please contact the funding institutions yourself to find out how the funding works.
Yes, the majority of our courses are suitable for educational leave.
If you want to continue your education without terminating your employment, you can arrange educational leave with your employer. This means that you will be released from work for the duration of your training.
Plan your educational leave with us now! We will be happy to clarify your individual training requirements with you in a personal, non-binding consultation.
You can take your educational leave for a maximum of 1 year within 4 years - there are 3 options:
It is important that your employer agrees to you taking educational leave. You must provide evidence of the training plans issued by us to the extent of 20 hours per week in the case of full-time educational leave, or at least 10 hours in the case of part-time educational leave.
You must regularly provide evidence of the progress of your training. For example, in the form of examinations or confirmation of attendance, which you will receive from us.
As a yoga teacher, you have many options - the possibilities are almost endless.
A permanent position in a yoga studio, for example, gives you the most regular working day. However, if you prefer to be flexible, self-employment is an option, for example, as a private teacher in the form of home visits or in your own studio.
In a yoga retreat or spa in the countryside, there is a pleasant atmosphere because clients have usually planned a longer stay and are therefore fully engaged in the experience instead of being torn away from their everyday lives for an hour. However, this form of employment often involves relocating close to the workplace - in many wellness establishments, accommodation and meals are included in the permanent position.
A more adventurous variant of this is employment as a yoga teacher on cruise ships, where accommodation and meals are also included and you can get to know new countries and cities in your free time.
There is now also a demand for yoga classes in schools or kindergartens, so if you enjoy socializing with children, this may be a direction you can take after your yoga teacher training.
On average, a yoga teacher in permanent employment earns around €20 per hour, although it should be noted that in most cases you cannot practise for more than 27 hours per week. This is roughly equivalent to three 90-minute sessions per day, 6 days a week. In the long term, more hours per week are not compatible in terms of time and physical fitness. This results in a yoga teacher salary of around €2,340 gross per month.
However, if you become self-employed, you can of course determine the price yourself. For a group session, for example, you can charge €15 per person; with up to 15 participants, you can then charge €225 for a session. For individual lessons, you can expect to pay an average of €60 per hour. Of course, you will still have to pay room rent and advertising costs from your self-employed income and take care of the administration yourself.
Pilates instructors create training programs for different target groups (e.g. children, seniors, beginners, advanced students). They advise their course participants on various exercises, demonstrate the exercises and help the course participants to perform them correctly.

The right goal-setting and the proper approach to feedback are an important parts of this unit.
The way we manage stress as trainers and with our clients and a variety of learning strategies are explored so these skills can be integrated into your professional approach.

After explaining the meaning of the word Pranayama, the focus will be on the influence of breathing on the human body. You will learn about the role of breathing and the development of a breathing practice, as well as how different breathing techniques affect or differ from each other.

In this module, you will learn about the elements that constitute a yoga class.
You will understand the structure of a yoga class with its corresponding elements and explore the meaning of meditation in yoga, as well as the various states of mind according to the philosophy of yoga. The mantra Om and its significance in yoga instruction will also be covered.

We will convey to you the origins of yoga, the tradition, and the fundamentals of philosophy based on ancient scriptures. The word yoga will be translated and defined.
You will learn about the eight limbs of the Yoga path by Patanjali and also gain insight into the three main scriptures in yoga, namely the Bhagavadgita, the Yoga Sutra, and the Upanishads.
After this module, you will understand the effects of yoga and be able to distinguish between yoga and classical gymnastics. Additionally, you will be familiar with the various types of yoga and specialized in the topic of Western Hatha yoga.

This course focuses on conveying the course objectives in yoga.
We will develop the structure of a successful yoga class for beginners and advanced practitioners. This includes discussing the differences in knowledge transfer between fitness training and yoga, vital training.
You will learn the basic components of yoga instruction and its teaching objectives in both beginner and advanced classes.
The aim of this module is to provide you with all the necessary knowledge to lead a successful yoga class and apply the appropriate methodology, didactics, and pedagogy.

In the Suraya Namaskar course, the sequences of asanas in the Sun Salutation Surya Namaskar A and B are taught. This includes focusing on safe alignment and the role of breathing in the sequence.
The goal is to learn the sequence of Sun Salutations Surya Namaskar A and Surya Namaskar B. Movement and breathing are synchronized in a flow to bring them into harmony. Each exercise (asana) is examined in detail, and the effects of the Sun Salutation are learned.

Great training and super nice people. You can tell how much emphasis is placed on conveying the necessary knowledge to the course participants in an understandable way. I was even kindly allowed to take a course completely free of charge after there were somewhat problematic and disruptive participants in my group. I will 100% take more courses with you in the future because learning is extremely fun, especially thanks to the friendly staff!

The best thing that could have happened to me is this academy. Access to participants is excellent. All employees are very competent, very professional and very friendly. A person can learn so much that it is indescribably good. I would recommend it to everyone. When I arrived in Austria I was looking for something like this and luckily I found this academy and signed up for the course without hesitation. Everything we get in return is worth 100 times more than what we pay. Indescribable experience, indescribable people, once again and 1000 times I say: Thank you for everything, thank you for this indescribable experience. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

I was able to learn a lot of new things as part of my training at the Flexyfit Academy and was able to take on a new, demanding challenge with my chosen course. The structure of the training courses is very understandable and clear, so that you can master the distance learning course on your own without any problems. If there were any questions, ambiguities or isolated problems, the Academy team was always quick to help and we could always find a common solution. Here and there I would have liked a little more practical relevance. Nevertheless, I always felt very comfortable, had great speakers and with my degree as a qualified medical sports coach, many new doors are now open to me :)
